Reviews
Joe Cannella was an excellent host and tour guide. He shared the story behind the distillery's name and his own background, noting that Cannella means "cinnamon" in Italian, reflecting his Sicilian heritage. The spirits he offered were unique and flavorful, and the cocktails were fantastic. We had a great time with our fellow guests, a group of firemen from Hawaii. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour and are eager to return.
The staff was fantastic. We tasted more than just whiskey, and surprisingly, I enjoyed the gin as well. They even provide a gin-making class, which I can't wait to try on my next visit.
Dom was fantastic! She provided a lot of information and had a really nice, funny demeanor. I will certainly return if I find myself in Reno again.
Daniel was fantastic! He made the tour enjoyable and felt personalized. I just ordered a few bottles to enjoy lazy espresso martinis at home. I'll definitely return on my next trip to Reno, and I plan to bring a bigger bag to carry more bottles back home.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was definitely worth the cost, as everyone we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the liquor.
Joe led a relaxed and engaging tasting session, enriched with family history and insights into distillation chemistry. I'm really pleased we participated in this experience.
This has been one of the finest, if not the finest, tours I have ever attended. The bartender and guide was very friendly and highly knowledgeable. His engaging presentation made me eager to purchase every spirit showcased. I'm excited to see your product available in my area soon.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and I found it fascinating to discover the techniques for distilling gin and bourbon. It was a lot of fun.
We had a fantastic afternoon in Reno, trying new flavors and experiencing unique tastes. The tour was personal and informative. Arriving a bit early made it feel like a private experience.
This experience was exceptional. It offered a wealth of history, informative insights, and excellent alcoholic beverages. More than just a distillery, it serves as a genuine educational venue and a local hangout. It was clear from the start that there were regular patrons, and they continually refresh their drink selections. The cinnamon old fashioned was particularly impressive; it was perfectly balanced, not overwhelming or overly sweet. For anyone visiting, this spot is a must, conveniently located within walking distance of many Reno hotels. Locals should definitely check it out too; you might find yourself becoming a regular. And, of course, we left with several bottles to enjoy later.
