This experience is an absolute must! The location is genuinely a hidden gem, perfect for a relaxing day or picnic, so don’t plan anything afterwards. Gary was both entertaining and knowledgeable. He connected wonderfully with my daughter, who hasn't stopped raving about him and the tour. You can get up close to the sea lions and spend as much time as you wish. Gary is flexible, accommodating activities like kayaking or snorkeling. We even spotted an octopus, and he dove down to retrieve it for us. If we return to the area, we will definitely do this again!
Gary is fantastic, and I can't praise him enough. He is genuine and has a wealth of knowledge. He even reached out to me after booking to share information and a video, plus he gave excellent tips on how to prepare for the day. I showed up in swimwear with a few layers, but I mainly needed just my T-shirt and long-sleeve shirt. Definitely remember to put sunscreen on your legs. The tour itself is incredible, getting really close to the sea lions with so many great opportunities for photos. Gary allows you to paddle out into the open ocean if you want, but we chose not to do that. Gary has amazing stories and knows how to capture fantastic videos and pictures. It was truly a wonderful experience, and my wife loved it as well. I'm planning to snorkel with Gary later this year when the weather warms up.
We had an incredible day! Gary introduced us to a variety of California wildlife, including sea lions, crabs, starfish, hermit crabs, and garibaldi fish. His expertise on local sea life was impressive. We chose to include snorkeling, which added an amazing element to our adventure. He provided all the necessary gear, including wetsuits for the chilly water. Thanks, Gary. We look forward to returning on our next trip to southern California!

The water was warm, calm, and crystal clear, perfect for seeing various wildlife like pelicans, sea lions, garibaldi, opaleye fish, and even some large lobsters. We discovered an excellent new snorkeling spot geared towards adventure seekers. Gary was not just a guide; he’s a storyteller, naturalist, and a true legend. His extensive knowledge of the area kept us both engaged and inspired, especially with his stories about living off the land during his time on a survival TV show. This was a truly unique and amazing experience. Gary made everything so easy for our group, which included two seniors, two adults, and two kids aged 4 and 6. He expertly managed the kayaks, allowing everyone to have fun together. He taught my daughter how to snorkel, and she even held an octopus, a sea snail, and saw plenty of fish in a very safe and protected bay. Gary is very personable, flexible, and a delight to be around. I highly recommend this.
