On Easter Sunday 2025, while visiting LA from Canada, I decided to rent an e-bike to ride along the beach path (The Marvin Braude and The Strand) for a couple of hours. Although it was my first experience with an e-bike and I felt a little nervous, my excitement overshadowed it. The business owner was very helpful, providing clear instructions. After renting for two hours, I received a lock and basket at no extra charge and quickly set off. The e-bikes were comfortable and easy to handle. Even on a busy Easter Sunday, I managed to ride north along Redondo Beach for over an hour and returned by The Strand for a change of scenery. I highly recommend this activity and business to anyone who enjoys biking. It was easy and a lot of fun, allowing me to see plenty of beach and beach homes in a short time since the bike lets you travel faster than walking. I would certainly do this again.
We had an incredible experience! Our family of five, including an 11 and a 13-year-old, plus my 67-year-old mother, enjoyed a self-guided ride to Marina Del Rey. The bikes were excellent and the scenery was stunning.
I had a fantastic experience yesterday. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. The beach provided a soothing atmosphere, and the weather was perfect.
We booked the 4-hour tour based on the guide's assurance that it would allow sufficient time to visit Venice Beach and return. Although we did reach Venice, we only had about 20 minutes to explore. Upon returning, the guide confirmed that a 6-hour tour would have been necessary to truly enjoy the area. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, especially since the difference in price wasn't significant; we would have gladly paid more for a proper visit.
We spent 48 hours in Redondo and enjoyed a fantastic day biking on the beach. The weather was sunny and dry. We rented two E-bikes from the pier for two hours, with friendly and knowledgeable staff providing us with full instructions. As someone who hadn't ridden a bike since childhood, I found it easy to navigate. The scenery was beautiful as we rode from Redondo to Hermosa, then to Manhattan Beach and down to Palos Verdes, with plenty of spots to stop for food and drinks along the way. It was delightful to see surfers, great waves, and volleyball competitions being set up. Overall, it was a wonderful couple of hours spent with the wind in our hair, the sun on our faces, and the fresh sea air all around us.
The views from Point Vicente Lighthouse are stunning. The e-bike makes it easy to get there, and you can also enjoy some walking in the surrounding area.

I enjoyed biking along the beach, though parts of the route aren't directly on the sand, and mornings can be busy with both cyclists and pedestrians.

We spent a couple of hours at Manhattan Beach enjoying the waves and building sandcastles, then we grabbed some food and smoothies in Hermosa Beach. Everyone really enjoyed the experience.

The bikes were fantastic, and the e-bike really enhanced the ride. The customer service was outstanding; they were very supportive and made us feel well cared for. I will certainly return on my next visit to Redondo Beach.
