I found this walking tour to be a fantastic choice. It allowed me the freedom to explore at my own pace without feeling rushed by others. The instructions were straightforward, and the information provided was engaging; I simply used one earpod while walking. The route was manageable with all the sites located nearby, and the selected destinations offered plenty of great photo spots. I strongly encourage others to give this tour a try.
During a work trip to Raleigh, I found myself with some spare time. Staying downtown, I decided a self-guided tour would be an enjoyable way to explore the area and uncover its history at my own pace. It covered key highlights and provided a solid understanding of the surroundings. I highly recommend it.
The tour I booked was incorrect, which led to me paying twice. It was also challenging to switch between the tour app and the map app, as the locations didn't always match. On the positive side, I found the tour content to be both interesting and informative.
Coordinating between the map and the speaker was challenging and confusing. The speaker spoke rapidly. If you decide to go on this tour, having a physical map to follow the route is essential. We ended up relying on the map instead of the speaker. I suspect that many participants are unfamiliar with Raleigh and its street layouts.
This tour was exceptionally informative and everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of Raleigh.
This was our fourth guided GPS app walking tour, and they are typically a fantastic way to discover a location at your own pace without spending much. This tour was straightforward to navigate, though it overlooked a couple of sites we were interested in, like the convention center and Red Hat Amphitheater.
This tour was a nice way to learn a bit about Raleigh's history and pass some time. I suggest visiting the old City Hall and the new Legislative building for a tour while you're there.
The organization was extremely lacking. We were never informed of the tour's start time, just that it would be after 1 PM. We arrived at 1:20 and found no one present. After calling the listed number, a woman answered with a chaotic background of loud children, making it impossible to hear or understand her. She didn't apologize nor attempt to manage the noise. Ultimately, we decided to explore on our own. The communication and logistics were very poorly handled and confusing.
The app was simple to navigate and provided a great guide through downtown Raleigh. I really enjoyed my visit and gained a lot of insights about the city.
