This experience was quite enjoyable. For an hour, you walk around the UNC campus and nearby streets with an engaging guide who shares captivating ghost stories linked to the university’s history. You also get to explore the campus at night, admiring some key attractions beautifully illuminated. Taking place at 8 PM on a Saturday, the streets are lively with young, vibrant students. It's a delightful way to experience Chapel Hill.

Jessica was an excellent event leader, skillfully keeping the group engaged while sharing humorous anecdotes and insightful historical context about the area. The stories of the ghosts were told with both compassion and practicality. It was particularly enjoyable to hear how some ghosts would seemingly take extended "vacations" before returning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for all.
The stories were interesting, but the walk between stops was both fast and lengthy. If you're not accustomed to walking a lot, this may not be for you. Additionally, the brick sidewalk was uneven, which could be challenging for those with balance difficulties.
The guide provided a wealth of information regarding the area's history. I would recommend dressing in a costume from the 1930s or earlier to enhance the theatrical experience. Chapel Hill has a rich history that is often overlooked.
What a fantastic tour! We had a wonderful time exploring the campus after dark and discovering the history behind various locations. The ghost stories added an exciting touch, and Jessica truly excelled as our storyteller.
