My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and were extremely pleased. The service was excellent; our guide was welcoming and went above and beyond to enhance our experience. We gained valuable insights into the local fishing village and Vietnamese fishing culture. Our guide even offered an earlier pickup, which allowed us to see and do more, and we were grateful for that. Since it was the off-season, we were taken to a small, beautiful coral reef for snorkeling. Afterward, we enjoyed a local dish in the village and had some time to explore the area and relax on the beach. We then took a boat to a boathouse with a floating bridge, where we were warmly greeted by local fishermen. They taught us how to fish, and we had a great time. Food and drinks were provided along the way, adding to our enjoyment. Our guide was accommodating with time, allowing us extra fishing time while my partner took a nap. Fortunately, both of us caught fish, which made it even more exciting. Our catches were cooked on the boat, and we had the pleasure of tasting our own fish, which was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied with every aspect of this trip and would highly recommend it. We give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Warm regards from a couple from Norway.
Despite the weather not being ideal and rough waves preventing us from fishing, our wonderful guide Tri proposed an alternative more inland experience, which turned out to be one of the best times we’ve ever had. We started with a visit to a fishing village that was stunning and captivating, offering views that should not be missed. Next, we enjoyed a boat ride through the mangroves to a small island fishing village, where we appreciated the unique lifestyle there. We relaxed with beers while watching the storks return to roost, and our captain prepared an array of fresh seafood: oysters, two kinds of shrimp, fish, and unquestionably the finest steamed clams I've had. The great company and local wine made the experience even better. This tour was the highlight of our journey. It's a must-book! I already look forward to returning to go squid fishing with Tri!
I joined this tour with friends, and Dri was incredibly nice and friendly, even offering to pick us up early for a mountain hike. We took in the stunning coastline of Ky Co and traveled by two different boat types to reach the floating fishing platform. While we didn’t catch any fish that night, the experience was delightful as we savored great food and enjoyed the breeze, observing local fishermen at work. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quy Nhon. It's definitely worth it!
We initially signed up for a squid fishing tour, but due to bad weather, Tri, our guide and owner, adjusted the plan and took us to a nearby fishing village, where we enjoyed a meal outdoors on the boat. The tour included hotel pickup and drop-off. This experience provided a genuine insight into the local ecology, history, and community. The photos truly capture the essence of the day.
