Ms. Yen from Alluvia in Hoi An kindly connected me with a private tour after I expressed my interest in the Champa towers in Quy Nhon. Prior to my trip to Vietnam, I conducted research and mapped out the locations of these towers, knowing that access to at least one might be limited. I reached out to Mr. Thick, who quickly organized a custom tour covering almost all of them. Once in Quy Nhon, I was guided by Hanna and accompanied by a driver. Having fallen in love with Champa culture after visiting Mỹ Sơn, I was eager to explore further. We managed to visit nearly all the towers, save for one that prohibited access due to private property restrictions. I was struck by how these towers differ from the structures found in Siem Reap, Cambodia, reflecting a shared historical phase between the two kingdoms. Overall, it was an enlightening experience on early Vietnamese culture, and I hope that the Vietnamese people come to embrace their heritage with pride. I'm also pleased that I found fellow travelers who shared my passion for this aspect of history.
We had an incredible private tour focusing on Champa towers and cultural sites around Quy Nhon. Our guide Thich was outstanding, showcasing exceptional language abilities and great people skills. It was fascinating to learn about Champa history and, just as importantly, to understand life in Vietnam for both the older and younger generations. I highly recommend this experience.
I had an incredible experience with Thich. The scenery around Quy Nhon was spectacular, and I would never have discovered these places without his guidance. Riding along the river through quaint villages and visiting historical sites was amazing. The meal we concluded with was delightful as well. I highly recommend Thich.
Our tour in Quy Nhon was truly remarkable, thanks to Thich, our excellent guide who shared extensive insights into the history and culture of Binh Dinh province. We began with a visit to a local rice wine maker, where we explored the traditional production methods and tasted various wines. Then, we visited a talented artisan known for making Nong La (Vietnamese straw hats) using age-old techniques, which was captivating. Our tour concluded at the Banh It Cham Towers, where we ascended to the highest tower and learned about its fascinating history and construction. Thich’s enthusiasm and knowledge made this experience a wonderful opportunity to engage with the region's culture. I highly recommend it.

Although our tour was shortened due to a flight delay, Hana did an exceptional job guiding us and providing insightful explanations. We also had a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the train station. We are grateful to Hana for making our short visit both memorable and enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this private tour of the area. Hannah was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and delightful. We explored the General Museum, the Lang Song Seminary, and my favorite, the Banh It Towers. The insights into the architecture were impressive, and we ended with a tasty lunch back in the city, featuring delicious pancake spring rolls. Thank you very much!
We enjoyed a food tour of Quy Nhon with Thich Tours, which turned out to be more than just about the food; it included an informative overview of the area from Thich. The food was fantastic, and both the guides and driver were excellent. We highly recommend any tour offered by Thich Tours.
