We enjoyed a fantastic trip to Quy Nhon, largely thanks to our English-speaking guide. The tour included Eo-Gio, Ky-Co, and snorkeling at Hon Kho. Although Ky-Co beach was bustling due to the holidays, it was worth the visit. In May, Ky-Co showcased stunning blue waters and skies, with impressively clear air and water. It was even more beautiful than I anticipated, and I would love to return. The guide was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable information about Quy Nhon and suggestions for the following day. I am very grateful!

Notably, during Christmas when dining options were scarce, he organized a private car for us to enjoy a meal in a nearby fishing village, which was completely outside the tour. Thich organized a half-day tour for us to Ki Co beach from the Anantara Quy Nhon. This private tour featured a driver and Thich as our guide. He shared insights about the area's history, the local lifestyle, and the developments throughout the journey. Thich's proficiency in English is impressive, and his knowledge and straightforwardness significantly enhance the understanding of Quy Nhon and its connection to Vietnam as a whole. Although the beach was beautiful, the weather was mostly cloudy during our visit. Thich offered helpful advice on logistics, suggesting ideal spots to sit, take photos, and visit at times when crowds were minimal, demonstrating his awareness of our needs as guests. We engaged Thich for two additional outings that week: another half-day tour around Quy Nhon and an airport transfer from a different hotel. On the tour, we met various villagers and craftsmen and had the option to try several restaurants with diverse cuisines, all well-recommended by Thich. For the airport transfer, we managed to save around half of the hotel’s quoted rate. Throughout our three excursions, we were provided with clean, well-maintained SUVs of various models. The importance of having knowledgeable guides and engaging trips increases the longer one stays near Quy Nhon. With many hotels located in secluded areas and walking being a challenge, along with the impracticality of renting cars or scooters, Thich's services are ideal for anyone looking for a break from days at the resort. It's advisable to book in advance to guarantee his availability and be ready to gain insights on Vietnam's history, martial arts, culture, and more.
