I had an excellent time with Amigos del Rio on the Class II/III Savegre River adventure. They conveniently picked us up from La Mariposa Hotel, making the start of the trip hassle-free. The rapids offered a thrilling experience while remaining safe and manageable, striking the perfect balance for us. The guides added excitement by steering us into eddies, which we appreciated. Although the shuttle rides were somewhat lengthy, the staff provided interesting insights about Costa Rica, making the journey enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend this rafting trip if you want a fun, secure, and well-organized experience.
We had a fantastic day rafting on the Savegre with Amigos Del Rio. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, putting us at ease from the beginning. Our rafting guide, Luis, was incredibly positive and supportive, which boosted our confidence during the rapids. He shared many fascinating facts about the nature around us, which added to the experience. The visit to the waterfall was a lovely touch, and the lunch afterward was tasty. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to everyone.

Our family of four, including two elementary-aged kids, had an outstanding rafting adventure with Amigos del Rio. They provided convenient pick-up and drop-off, a tasty lunch, and took great care of us during the excursion. Our guide, Paolo, shared his extensive knowledge about the area and wildlife, ensuring a safe and enjoyable time on the river. The two safety kayakers/photographers were also exceptional. The jungle views and a stop for a swim in a hidden waterfall felt like something from a movie. Although the 1.5-hour drive to Rio Savegre was longer than expected, it was absolutely worth it. We highly recommend Amigos del Rio, and my kids are eager to return for the Class IV-V trip when they’re older.
