Two-hour guided tour through Manuel Antonio National Park including wildlife spotting, followed by time at the beach.
This guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park begins just outside the park entrance where you'll meet a certified naturalist guide. After a brief ranger inspection, the tour progresses along the park's trails for about two hours, focusing on spotting wildlife including monkeys, sloths, and a variety of birds and reptiles.
A high-definition spotting scope is used to provide close-up views of the animals, giving an excellent opportunity for capturing photographs. After the guided portion, you'll have the chance to relax on Manuel Antonio Beach, often regarded as one of Costa Rica's most stunning beaches, where you can spend as long as you wish before exiting the park at your leisure. Admission tickets are included, and you'll receive further details after booking.

This tour was truly outstanding. I highly recommend it. Leo was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable; his passion for the park and its wildlife was clearly evident. I would happily take this tour again and again. I am amazed at how he spots the animals.
We adhered to Diego's WhatsApp guidance and gathered at the designated meeting spot outside the park. Other guides respectfully inquired about our guide but left us alone until we reached the rendezvous. The tour itself was remarkable, with the thrill of spotting various animals, birds, and reptiles shared by both us and Leo. The viewpoints following the tour are also definitely worth checking out, just like taking a swim in the ocean.
Leo was fantastic! I truly appreciated the wonderful tour.
Without the guide, I would have thought of this as just a walk in the park; his expertise allowed me to see many more animals than I would have otherwise. The park itself is incredible and truly worth visiting.
Diego provided excellent care for our group, which included myself, my adult daughter, and two teenagers, along with three others. A guided tour is essential; we would have missed many creatures without Diego’s keen eye. We had the benefit of observing through his telescope and received a photo album afterward. Overall, it was well worth the expense. Additionally, Diego was very helpful in explaining to park staff why we needed to bring a small snack for one of my teens who has T1D. Thank you for everything, Diego!
We had an incredible time with our guide Milton, who was not only very knowledgeable but also exceptionally kind. He helped us spot animals we would not have noticed on our own.
This was truly a remarkable experience. Milton made everything enjoyable with his extensive knowledge. Having him to ourselves allowed for thorough explanations of the history and wildlife we were curious about. The admission process was straightforward and prepaid. The only challenge we faced was finding the parking area, so we ended up parking elsewhere. Our visit lasted about 2.5 hours, filled with learning and animal observations. The beach at the end was stunning. If you're visiting Manuel Antonio, I highly recommend this excursion and asking for Milton; you won’t regret it.
This was a great experience, offering sights that would be hard to discover on your own. I felt I could have handled it solo since I had already seen many of the smaller attractions during a previous night tour and was specifically looking for the larger monkeys.
This was a fantastic experience. The amount of wildlife you encounter is far greater than if you were to explore the park alone. I gained valuable insights into the history and background of many species. I would definitely do it again. Although I didn't see any monkeys during the tour, I understood they come out later. On my return walk to the beach, I saw so many monkeys that I lost count. If you don’t spot any monkeys on the tour, I suggest lingering near the café or the beach for a while longer.
I checked out the reviews beforehand but still forgot to bring a reusable water bottle for the 1.5-2 hour walking tour in the park, where plastic bottles aren't allowed. We started early in the morning and felt the warm rainforest climate. There were plenty of monkeys along the path, which was exciting to see up close. Our guide, John Pierre, provided excellent insights into the park's history and pointed out interesting wildlife. The beach at the end was stunning, so make sure to bring a towel to relax.
