Three hours, guided ATV ride through a private reserve — swim in a natural river pool and enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal after.
This three-hour ATV tour begins with a guided ride through the stunning landscapes of a private natural reserve in Manuel Antonio. An expert bilingual guide will lead you on single or double ATVs that are safe and easy to handle, suitable for riders aged 18 and older, with provisions for younger drivers to participate with a guardian's consent.
The thrilling journey includes a light hike into the rainforest, where you can relax and swim in a natural river pool. You'll also receive fresh local fruits and a water bottle during the ride. To round off the experience, a traditional Costa Rican meal awaits you at the end of the tour. Lockers are provided for belongings you wish to leave behind, and towels are available for a quick freshen up post-swim.

Gabriel was an excellent guide, and I really appreciated the diverse aspects of this ATV tour. It included a palm grove, river stream crossings, small towns, forest exploration, a hike, a refreshing dip at a small waterfall, and a lovely lunch.
Definitely worth the expense! Everything was fantastic. This is a fun experience you shouldn't miss in Costa Rica! We rode ATVs to Rainmaker Park and back.
This was an excellent experience. The journey started with round trip transportation from our Air BnB, leading us to the ATVs. We had a fantastic time riding to a waterfall where we could swim. A delicious lunch was provided afterward. The guides were very safety-conscious and kind. I highly recommend this activity.
The experience was somewhat different from what I anticipated. While we had a good time, the activity mostly involved riding an ATV on roads leading to a small waterfall. We booked a 10am tour, but it didn’t actually begin until 11am unless transportation was needed; we arrived a few minutes before 10am, unaware that we didn’t need to gather until 10:40am. However, the lunch was fantastic, providing a wonderful conclusion to the tour. I would still suggest it for those looking to relax and enjoy the ride.
This was among the best excursions we've experienced! Carlos, our fantastic guide, was hospitable, knowledgeable, entertaining, and made us feel secure. We traveled with our 12 and 15-year-olds, who enjoyed riding with us. The waterfall experience was amazing, and the traditional Costa Rican lunch at the end was the perfect finishing touch. I highly recommend it!
Overall, this ATV adventure was highly enjoyable. The ride was well-paced and suitable for riders of all experience levels, ensuring everyone in the group could keep up. It was a nice option for those not extremely experienced in off-roading. The highlight of the tour was definitely the stop at the “Rainmaker” waterfall. After a bumpy ride through the trails, refreshing ourselves in the crystal-clear river water was a real treat. The provision of water and fresh pineapple beforehand was a thoughtful touch that enhanced the experience. The meal at the conclusion of the tour was exceptional—easily one of the best I had during my time in Costa Rica. It's worth staying for! As for the tour guide, they were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and funny, contributing significantly to making the trip memorable. If I had one suggestion, it would be to allow more time at the waterfall. It was so inviting and soothing that spending an additional 30 minutes there would have been ideal. If you join this tour, take your time at that spot and truly enjoy it. I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a fun outdoor experience with a great group atmosphere. Pura Vida!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I was uncertain about how my wife and daughter would react, but they loved it. Carlos, our main guide, made my wife feel at ease with her first ATV experience. The paths offered a fun mix of paved roads, dirt tracks, off-road routes, and water crossings. Halfway through, we were treated to water and fresh pineapple, followed by a refreshing swim in the creek. Upon our return, we were served a delightful and beautifully prepared Costa Rican meal. Overall, it was an excellent day. Thank you to everyone involved in making it happen.
The experience consisted of a one-hour journey to the destination and back, an hour spent at the location, 15 minutes at a 2.5-meter waterfall, and 20 minutes for eating before boarding the bus. It could be improved.
I had a wonderful experience. The ATV was fantastic, and the team was friendly and very supportive. The transport to and from the hotel was comfortable. I would definitely do it again.
This was one of the best experiences we've had while in Costa Rica. We all had a fantastic time. Carlos, our guide, was excellent and really enhanced the ride. The lunch provided was delicious too.
