Reviews
The experience was enjoyable, as we observed numerous animals and wandered through the mangrove canals with peace, allowing for contemplation. Our guide, Rudolph, provided explanations with excellent clarity and patience.
This tour was fantastic. Our family of four enjoyed a private-like experience since we were the only ones booked. We encountered iguanas, crabs, bats, and many birds. Kevin was impressive—patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, expertly answering all our questions about the mangrove. This was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip, and I highly recommend it to everyone. The shaded areas were a relief on such a hot day.
Upon arrival, the canal had very little water, but soon the tide caused it to rise, allowing us to kayak for about two hours. We encountered monkeys, iguanas, and bats. We didn’t try the food there, so we can't comment on it. Overall, a lovely and calming experience in the heart of the mangrove.
The kayaking trip was a peaceful experience through a stunning mangrove forest. Our guide, though new, was knowledgeable and eager to share information. While we didn’t see much wildlife, we gained valuable insights about the mangrove ecosystem. A few logistical points: - The tour mentioned providing bottled water, but none was given. We brought our own, but some participants went without. - The trip lasted longer than expected. Although the tour was supposed to end around 4:30 PM, it concluded closer to 6:00 PM after a meal, which we opted out of. The operator kindly drove us back to our hotel while others ate, and we were fine with the extended timing since we had flexible plans. - Communication from the tour operator was effective. The original start time of 10:00 AM changed to 1:00 PM due to high tide, and they informed us shortly after booking. The hotel pick-up was timely. Overall, it was an enjoyable kayaking adventure with a helpful guide.
This was a lovely experience that I would recommend to anyone. Our guide was very dedicated and explained everything with immense passion.
This experience was incredible, far superior to the bustling crowds in the park. We truly felt connected to nature. Our guide Johnny was fantastic, making the outing feel like a day spent with friends.
Being on the water was enjoyable; we spotted monkeys along with several types of birds.
Fantastic tour! Edgar was an excellent guide. I highly recommend it.
Enderson was an excellent tour guide—enthusiastic, delightful, and very knowledgeable. This was a wonderful tour that I highly recommend.
Enderson Brando made for a delightful tour guide. He provided extensive information about the mangroves, various bird species, and the stunning natural scenery of Costa Rica.
