What's the itinerary?+
• The journey begins with hotel pickup in Pushkar, followed by a visit to a Gurdwara, where you can participate in prayers and observe the priest as he reads from the Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred Sikh scripture. Next, you will visit the Brahma Temple, which features marble architecture and is adorned with silver coins. A marble statue of the Sun God can be seen at the temple's entrance. • Surrounding the lake, there are several 18th century temples. You will participate in a ceremony honoring ancestors at Lake Pushkar, along with a traditional Indian fire ritual known as ‘havan’. Afterward, you can stroll through nearby bazaars to explore the vibrant array of goods available, including perfumes, trinkets, and items used for religious prayers and offerings. Pushkar is recognized for its rose growing and is often referred to as the ‘Rose Garden of Rajasthan’, offering an opportunity to purchase well-known rose perfume. There are also specialized shops that provide fabrics for the traditional Rajasthani turban, with storekeepers ready to assist in tying one on. The tour concludes with brunch (at your own cost) at a local restaurant. Post-brunch, you will be returned to your hotel.
