Built in the 12th century by King Anaji Chauhan and later destroyed by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, it was reconstructed in the 18th century by Raja Sawai Mann Singh II. The temple boasts an elegant design adorned with precious ornaments and stones. • The old Rangji Temple, about 200 years old and located near Varaha Ghat in the town center, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Commissioned in 1823 by rich merchant Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal of Hyderabad, it features idols of Lord Rangji, Lord Krishna, Goddess Lakshmi, and others, noted for its striking South Indian architectural style and towering Gopuram. • Suggest visiting some concealed and less frequented temples that feature remarkable architecture. • Koteshwar Mahadev Temple is renowned for its beautiful design and historical significance, considered a VIP Ghat due to visits from VIPs year-round. • This unique temple houses 108 Shivalingams (shrines) together, a sight rarely found in India. • The only temple in the universe dedicated to Lord Brahma, its structure dates back to the 14th century and has undergone partial renovations. A silver turtle on the floor faces the sanctum (Garbhgriha) housing the four-faced idol of Lord Brahma along with Goddess Gayatri. This idol was consecrated in the Garbhgriha in 718 AD by Adi Shankara and is managed by monks (Sanayasi). • A beautifully designed temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated at the edge of Pushkar Lake. • This Ghat was constructed in the early 16th century by the King of Amer, Raja Mann Singh I, and later renovated by Jai Singh in the 18th century.
