6The Grey Glacier is part of the southern ice fields and is located in the western sector of Torres del Paine National Park, it is an ice mass with approximately 6 km wide and a height that fluctuates between 20 and 30 meters. During navigation we approach the different faces of the Glacier allowing us to observe the beauty and magnitude of this ice giant. An unforgettable experience awaits you!
7At Howlanders, we consider the "Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers Tour" a must for every traveler visiting Puerto Natales. From the boat, the tour will introduce two of the most impressive glaciers in Chile: Balmaceda and Serrano. In addition to the glaciers, this tour includes a 40-minute walk through a lush forest to reach the foot of the glaciers. On the way back to the ship, you can enjoy a glass of whiskey made with millenary ice from the glaciers, coffee, or a hot cup of tea. Are you ready for a real adventure? Here are all the details of the tour:
8This is a boat trip through Last Hope Sound towards Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, to visit the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. We will see not just these icy giants but also local flora and fauna along the way.
9We will meet at the meeting point to begin a 5 and a half hour trip that will take you to the Perito Moreno glacier, in Argentina. After the border procedures at the Don Guillermo Pass, a guide will pick up in El Calafate and you will follow the path to Los Glaciares National Park. The visit to the park will last 1 hour and a half, during which you will be able to walk the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno glacier. You will visit several viewpoints and, if you are lucky, you will be able to see some of the ice falls of more than 70 m. There is also the option of dividing your time and walking the walkways for 30 minutes and taking the navigation in front of the glacier for 1 hour (not included). FROM JUNE 1 UNTIL AUGUST 31 DEPARTURE: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY. RETURN: TUESDAY, THURSDAY, SATURDAY.
