This experience in Costa Rica was truly extraordinary. We were fortunate to explore the beautiful Corcovado National Park with an exceptional guide named José, who was always attentive and eager to help us capture every memorable moment. The day was a complete journey, from dawn to dusk, immersed in the beauty of nature and observing various wildlife in their natural surroundings. A highlight was a refreshing swim in the Rio Claro, surrounded by nature. Sleeping outdoors under a mosquito net while listening to the sounds of the night was simply magical. It's hard to express how intense and authentic this experience was, all thanks to the TalocoTours team, including Jose and Ely, who perfected every detail. I would undoubtedly do this again and highly recommend it to others.
We participated in the boot-in and hike-out tour, which covered 20 km, guided by Giovanny. It was both exhilarating and tiring. Giovanny did an excellent job explaining everything and worked hard to help us spot the local wildlife. We started at 5 a.m. and reached our goal at 2 p.m., but the journey included animal watching along the way. The hike takes about 7 hours, as the paths are not paved. There were also stretches where we had to walk on the beach under the sun at times for extended periods. Additionally, we crossed a river that was quite high. Overall, it was an incredible adventure.
I participated in the boat-in and hike-out tour, covering approximately 20 km, with Giovanny as our guide. It was a fantastic but demanding experience. Giovanny was exceptional, answering all our questions about Corcovado and Costa Rica. On the first day, we enjoyed several shorter walks in the park, where he skillfully pointed out various animals we wanted to see, showcasing his passion for his work. For our return trek, we departed the Ranger Station around 5 am and reached Carate by 2 pm. The hike through the forest and along beaches was challenging, and the cold drinks at the end were greatly appreciated. Ely communicated effectively and made sure we knew what to bring, even double-checking everything the day before our departure.
Ely is an excellent guide who knows the best spots to visit in the incredible National Park. She's very friendly and engages in conversations that go beyond just the tour.
We took part in the boat-in, hike-out tour with an overnight stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the lodge. It was a fantastic experience that will stay with us.
This was an excellent day trip. I spotted incredible wildlife the moment I got into the truck.
Our trip to Corcovado National Park with Ely was fantastic. He provided us with all the essential details the day before and guided us through an incredible experience. We spotted numerous animals, and Ely captured amazing photos with his telescope. The 4.5-hour tour was thoroughly enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Ely's tour; it was truly unforgettable, and we would happily book with him again. Thank you for everything.
Our experience in Corcovado National Park was truly incredible. José, our guide, was deeply passionate and made it his mission to show us a variety of animals without disturbing them in their natural environments. We encountered tapirs, snakes, monkeys, macaws, sloths, and more. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Thank you, Ely and José.
We arranged a two-day, one-night guided tour at the Sirena Ranger Station in Corcovado through Ely Lopez. Our guide, José, was dedicated to helping us spot various animals while explaining their connections with the ecosystems and human impact. He patiently answered our questions, showcased many stunning creatures, and even took pictures for us using his telescope. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica and the best guided tour we experienced. We highly recommend it. Thank you, Ely and José, for an unforgettable adventure. Best regards, Christina and Christopher
We reached out to Ely in January to arrange our two-day tour, and the process was smooth and swift through WhatsApp. Ely was always prompt in her responses. The day prior to the tour, we met to go over final details and address any questions. Although we initially planned for a boat in/hike out setup, we were able to make a spontaneous change. Our guide Oscar was fantastic, eager to show us everything and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and plants in the forest. With just four people in our group, we could truly engage with the experience and absorb his insights. Thank you, Oscar. These two days were a wonderful highlight of our travels.
