Full-day private vehicle tour — visit the longest suspension bridge in Chile, Pangal Valley, and enjoy a traditional Patagonian asado lunch.
This full-day excursion begins with pickup from the port of Puerto Chacabuco in a comfortable vehicle. Explore the stunning landscapes of Chilean Patagonia, including the longest suspension bridge in the country, the Pangal Valley—home to a spectacular waterfall known as "Cascada del Leon"—and the uniquely named "Ghost Lagoon".
You will also experience a traditional Patagonian asado, where lamb is cooked on a spit, along with local potatoes, salad, and sopaipillas, a small dough starter typical of Chile. This part of the tour offers an authentic insight into the local culture and the lifestyle of the rural Campesinos.
After a day of nature, culture, and photography opportunities, you'll return to the port to rejoin your ship.

Our experience on the tour with Natalia was wonderful. She spoke excellent English and had a friendly demeanor. The lunch provided was a delightful highlight of the day.
This journey has certainly been a highlight of my time in South America. We were fortunate with the stunning weather. Upon arrival via cruise ship, we were welcomed by traditional Chilean dancers and musicians. Although we waited briefly for other passengers, our guide Fernanda, who spoke excellent English, led us through breathtaking countryside. We arrived last to an Asado, where we were greeted with Pisco and sat at a long table adorned with traditional bread, potatoes, and salad. The lamb, cooked for five hours, was delicious and served outside, and after indulging in three different cakes for dessert, we enjoyed a stroll by the river before returning to the port.
The scenery was stunning and the lunch was enjoyable, but there was little information provided about the area's history or its pioneers. The guide was friendly, but their limited English resulted in a lack of narration during much of the tour.
We were not impressed with the options provided by our cruise line, so we chose this tour based on Tripadvisor recommendations. We were delighted by the company’s expertise and professionalism. We enjoyed discovering one hidden gem after another that other tours missed, and the lunch felt more like a warm invitation from friends rather than just a meal. We highly recommend this experience.
I appreciated the stunning scenery of the Patagonia region, although the bus ride was quite uncomfortable. The seats felt cramped, making it hard to engage with others, and the noise from the gravel roads made it difficult to hear our guide. Additionally, she interacted more with the driver in Spanish than with the group. On a positive note, lunch was excellent, and I would recommend this tour, but be ready for the rough ride. It’s also wise to bring your own water, as there are no stops to buy any.
The tour was enjoyable, with a small group of just 14 participants. Our guide, Nat, was very personable. The lunch was particularly great, featuring plenty of food.
The guide and driver provided a really great experience. While the lagoon was underwhelming, the waterfalls, fjord, and lamb lunch were excellent. It would have been nice to have a bit more time to explore Puerto Aysen.
The views were stunning, and the lunch exceeded my expectations. The lamb, potatoes, and homemade dessert were exceptional. I would definitely recommend this experience.
The tour was exceptionally organized, taking place in a remote area. While there isn't much to see, it does contain some delightful surprises. Bridge enthusiasts will find it worthwhile, and the stunning landscapes combined with insights into Patagonia's local life are also appealing. Although the waterfall wasn't particularly impressive at this time, the ASADO was the standout feature of the trip. The lamb and wine were top-notch, facilitating connections among fellow travelers. I highly recommend this tour. One suggestion for improvement: the guides were pre-assigned, causing delays as they waited for all guests to arrive, which meant we had to wait for an hour after quickly disembarking. A first come, first serve approach would be more efficient.
The excursion was pleasant and relaxed. Leonardo, our guide, was excellent; he spoke English clearly and had a strong knowledge of history. The tour was quite informative.
