My friend and I traveled from the Midwest and were looking for an activity to enjoy while exploring Providence, and this was just what we needed.
Quick, enjoyable, and straightforward. This was an entertaining way to explore the island while having a good time. It led us to discover some places we might not have seen otherwise.
I previously participated in an on-location hunt using the app and had a great time. However, this one was quite challenging since I had to text and play on the same phone. I suggest having another person with their own device to tackle different parts of the tasks. We're also planning to try more at-home hunts and see how they turn out. Anything that helps us get off the couch is a plus!
We had an incredible date night at home. It was a lot of fun and a great way to safely reconnect during the quarantine.
The experience would improve with additional historical context regarding the city and nearby landmarks. There are no directions to the next stop unless you access the map. While that's acceptable, it lacks engagement. Including specific directions in the quest, like "head to the eastern corner and turn right at the dark brown building," would enhance it.
The app was hard to use, and there was no customer service support. I'm very disappointed and have yet to receive any response from the company. Save your money and just go for a walk instead.
The app failed to function properly, leaving me very disappointed. I was informed about upgrades and told to try again, with no charges. However, when we attempted the following week, it still didn't work and attempts to charge us were made. When I requested a refund, I was told I needed to wait 5 to 7 days.
It was a pleasant experience to view the sights. However, there were some minor issues. Getting the app to launch and start was difficult. While the directions were clear, the app itself was complicated. Additionally, the emoji challenge didn't function properly, presenting unclear clues that seemed incomplete.
