This location is stunning and not at all crowded, making for a lovely experience that the entire family appreciated. The staff was fantastic, and overall, it ranks among the best excursions I've experienced. The food was an incredible highlight as well.
The time in Progresso is different, leaving little time at the resort. Only one waiter checked on us during our visit. From a menu of around 20 options, we could only choose chicken tacos or wings. I had to get our drinks from the bar each time, and after five drinks, we felt nothing. They provided transportation for the city bus we needed. Despite repeatedly saying we had to leave, we were told it would be ten minutes, but the van actually arrived 30 minutes later after contacting them. We ended up late for our ship. When I asked for water at the bar, I was informed I had to pay for it, despite having the all-inclusive package. As I was leaving, a manager chased me down to say that water wasn't included in the package. This is unacceptable; I'd advise other cruisers to beware.
Food service was delayed for the initial two hours. They discouraged us from going to the bar for drinks, but we weren't attended to regularly.
