We enjoyed two tours in one day: the lion safari park and Lesedi cultural experience. Both were fantastic! At the park, we observed many lions, leopards, and hyenas, having a great time. The Lesedi experience was interactive, teaching us fascinating facts about the languages, customs, and lifestyles of five ancient cultures, enhanced by music and dance performances. The lunch was tasty and served in a beautifully decorated setting. Our guide, Eric, was punctual, friendly, and patient, making sure to capture moments while allowing us to enjoy each activity at our own pace. We highly recommend this tour for families.

The half-day trip to the lion park was fantastic. Our guide, TK, was very friendly and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the experience, including safely driving us back to the Holiday Inn Johannesburg. The lion park itself offered an amazing chance to see the animals up close from the safety of a safari truck. We managed to capture some incredible photos and videos, thanks to our knowledgeable guide who shared the park's history and some cautionary tales about self-driving visits. While the hyenas, wild dogs, and cheetahs felt more like a zoo, the lions were the main draw and seemed more at home in their natural setting.
I thoroughly enjoyed the safari trip. There was clear communication regarding transportation, and the destination was fantastic with great shops. I highly recommend this experience.

The driver, Thabang, was punctual and polite, taking us to the safari park and covering ticket costs. We then joined a separate tour guide for a two-hour exploration in a safari vehicle. The park offered a fantastic opportunity to see many animals like lions, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Although the area is fenced, it didn't take away from the experience, and the vehicle had openings for unobstructed photos, although the giraffe we saw was too distant. Elephants were not present. This experience comes highly recommended for those in the area.
Our final day in Africa was spent at Lion Safari Park, which was a fantastic experience. We finally saw the big cats we had hoped to encounter at Kruger. The park is stunning, and the animals appear healthy and content. Plus, we enjoyed convenient pick-up and drop-off from our hotel. It was everything we could have wanted.
