A one-hour visit is quite enjoyable, allowing time to stroll around the square, savor a coffee at one of the many cafés, and then move on.
Poznan is a stunning destination, especially at night, and it's a must-visit for anyone. Enjoying the exceptional Polish beer here is a highlight. The restaurants are located all around the square, and it's common to find staff who speak English, making it welcoming for international visitors. Be sure to experience it one evening.
We were very pleased with our walking tour of Poznań and highly recommend it to couples and groups interested in history and architecture. Our guide, Ola, was exceptional—knowledgeable, fun, and charming, exactly what one hopes for. She shared insights about Poznań's rich history from before the 10th century through the end of the Soviet era. Being a local, she also provided valuable perspectives on everyday life there. Definitely visit Poznań, take this tour, and hopefully, you'll get Ola as your guide.
Karolina was fantastic—very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly with great energy. I gained a lot of insights about the city and its history. I highly recommend this tour.
Karolina served as a fantastic tour guide, being both friendly and well-informed. I gained a great deal of knowledge about the city's history. I highly recommend this experience.
Visiting downtown Poznan in May 2023 was unfortunately disappointing due to extensive construction. The area was noisy and dusty, with many workers present, and most shops and restaurants were closed. Only a few pleasant spots were available nearby. I plan to return once the construction concludes, as it should greatly improve the experience.
Mateus, our guide, demonstrated impressive knowledge and provided us with many details throughout the tour. He thoroughly answered all our questions and even offered an excellent restaurant recommendation.
Our experience was quite disappointing. We drove to a brewery only to find it closed, receiving just two small beers instead. We were also unable to enter the cathedral with our guide due to a mass taking place, which they should have informed us about. Overall, we felt we didn't get what we paid for and were charged for things we couldn't do.
