The town is charming, tidy, and accessible via public transport. However, I wouldn't suggest visiting during Easter since many main attractions are shut, starting as early as Friday. Even regular shops and the tourist office are closed.
The tour in Poznan with Victor as the guide was outstanding. He possesses deep knowledge of history and effectively brings the city's and Poland's past to life in an engaging manner. Despite challenging weather conditions, the tour proceeded seamlessly and at a comfortable pace. Victor was willing to address all my inquiries and provided additional context that enriched the experience. Since I was the only participant, he included a few interior visits (with no entry fee), which was a pleasant surprise and added more variety to the tour. Additionally, he offered excellent recommendations for dining and activities afterward, which proved to be perfect. In summary, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and well-organized tour—highly recommended, as it became one of the highlights of my time in Poznan.
This tour was fantastic. Our guide, Victor, had extensive knowledge about the town and brought a great sense of humor. We're now exploring his list of recommended sights, bars, and restaurants. Those 12,000 steps were definitely worth it.
This tour was truly remarkable. Victor shifted my views on Poland and the stereotypes often associated with the country and its people. The visit was fascinating; he is a very approachable guide with impeccable English, showing great pride and passion for his homeland. I gained a lot of knowledge and had a great time, losing track of time. I highly recommend this city tour, especially with Victor as your guide. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Our experience with Wiktor was fantastic. The tour struck an excellent balance of history, architecture, myths, socio-economic insights, and humor—there was something for everyone. Both my partner and I loved it and would even consider it the best walking tour we've ever taken.
Demonstrated excellent local expertise and answered all inquiries thoroughly. The guide was both enthusiastic and personable. I would definitely recommend this experience.
This tour with Victor was truly excellent. As the only participant, I benefited from his extensive knowledge about Poznan and Poland. I even had the chance to practice my limited Polish. He shared insights on local cuisine, and receiving a bag of local sweets along with a list of recommended sights and dining spots at the end was a lovely gesture. I highly recommend this experience.
Our walking tour of Poznań led by Victor was a standout moment of our trip. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and shared captivating tales about Poland’s historical interactions with Germany and Russia, along with local insights. Victor also encouraged us to learn some simple Polish words and phrases, which added a delightful personal touch to the tour. Spanning over two hours, the experience was engaging the entire time, thanks to his friendly humor and storytelling skills. It was an exceptional value and comes highly recommended for anyone exploring Poznań.
Viktor was an excellent tour guide, making the experience engaging and fun with his humor and interaction with the group. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wonderful city of Poznan alongside him.
I had a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience. Wiktor provided a concise history of Poland and Poznań, guiding us through beautiful buildings while sharing fascinating stories and fun facts. His knowledge is impressive, and his English is excellent (unlike our Polish). I highly recommend this tour. Be sure to bring some cash for a tip because he definitely deserves it.
