This experience was a scam. I was notified just 15 minutes before the scheduled time that they had "engine trouble" and canceled. It cost $380 per person or $740 for a group of six, and it seems they just didn't want to proceed.
The boat was clean and comfortable, providing plenty of shade. It was a very enjoyable journey with ample time to explore the coastline and islands. I highly recommend it. The captain and tour guide were both knowledgeable and welcoming.

The charter experience in Portland is exceptional. I've taken three trips with Casco Bay Custom Charters, and they consistently demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a great sense of fun. Each year, they enhance their offerings, and the food was especially tasty. The crew is both entertaining and knowledgeable, making for a fantastic time.
The private cruise on the vintage lobster boat was fantastic. The captain and deckhand were very friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I highly recommend this cruise to everyone.
The cruise was enjoyable as we celebrated our 58th anniversary. However, we faced a communication issue: we only received a name for the meeting point, and Google Maps couldn't locate it. A local tour company also couldn't assist us. We ended up calling Trip Advisor to get directions to our boat. Fortunately, we arrived an hour early, or we might have missed it. Additionally, there were no complimentary drinks as promised.
Touring the Portland Harbor while taking in the sights of the lighthouses and islands was a delightful and calming experience. I strongly recommend Captain Nick along with his mate, Lauren.
