We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise; our guide was well-informed about the lighthouses, forts, city attractions, and beaches. She added some humor to the historical information, and our captain was excellent too—definitely recommend this cruise.
The boat ride was enjoyable, but I found the cruise lacking because it didn't allow for a close-up view of the lighthouses from the water as I had hoped.
The tour offers a fantastic opportunity to discover the harbor and bay in Portland. The crew was friendly, and it was a great value for the price.
This boat tour was a fantastic experience with great value. It was enjoyable to view all the lighthouses, houses, and beautiful scenery from the water. Josh provided an excellent amount of historical information and insights.
The crew was exceptional, and the views were stunning. It was definitely worth it. I’m really pleased we made this booking. Just remember to plan for parking in advance.
This tour is perfect if you want to enjoy some time on the water while learning interesting facts, especially if you're pressed for time. I appreciated finding an option that fit my tight schedule, as many other tours were over 2 hours.
Make sure to bring a jacket. The views are spectacular, and the historical details about the Cape were quite fascinating. I will certainly return next year.
I really think it could have been a wonderful experience. I traveled from Rhode Island and arrived just a minute late. Unfamiliar with the parking situation, it took time to find a spot and then identify the correct ship. By the time I sorted everything out, the vessel had already left, even though it was just a few minutes past 11. When I requested a time change or a refund, I was told no refund was possible since it was my fault for being late, and I could only switch if I paid more money, which I couldn't afford. While I recognize I was late, it wasn’t by much, and I wish there had been a small grace period for visitors new to the area.
This is an essential experience if you're in the vicinity. The scenery is stunning and it's a fantastic way to view the lighthouses. The captain and crew were excellent, and we enjoyed learning about the region's history.
This experience was truly fantastic. The captain welcomed everyone on the dock and once on board, our drink orders were promptly taken and served. There were several dinner options available. I have multiple food allergies and a friend who is a vegetarian, and we both found delightful choices. The food was hot and delicious, unlike the lukewarm meals I've come to expect at similar events. A talented pianist provided lovely background music. Instead of a traditional guide, we could listen to a tour guide on our phones with earbuds or read about the sights at our own pace. I highly recommend this.
