This half-day tour from Port Vila takes you to two of Efate Island's well-known attractions. Starting either at 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM, the itinerary first brings you to the Blue Lagoon, famed for its striking turquoise waters created by the unique mix of saltwater and freshwater springs.
Following the lagoon, you'll visit Eden On The River, where you can partake in a variety of freshwater activities. This family-friendly destination also offers light snacks for purchase. A complimentary 600ml bottle of water is provided for your convenience. The tour also includes a stop at the island's premier duty-free shop before returning you in time for your cruise or other commitments.

We enjoyed the Eden River and Blue Lagoon tour with Willy and Martina. Willy expertly navigated the pothole-filled roads, while Martina was attentive, ensuring everyone was having fun. She provided excellent information and answered all our questions. The Blue Lagoon offered a refreshing break on a hot day, and Eden River was also a great spot—we couldn't choose a favorite. This tour is definitely worth it. However, this was our second booking where we received no contact details for the tours, making it difficult to know who to look for. Communication needs improvement for such a large company.
We participated in the 1:00 pm Blue Lagoon & Eden River tour, which was perfectly timed for our cruise itinerary. Pickup was right at the cruise terminal, with a quick stop at a hotel before we departed. The van, comfortably air-conditioned, accommodated our group of 11, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. Eden River involved a brief walk down some slippery steps with handholds, which is something to consider if you have mobility issues. The water was cool and refreshing, and our guide wisely brought us back early due to rising water levels from rain upstream. The Blue Lagoon was breathtaking. By the time we arrived, most visitors had left, creating a serene atmosphere. It was a great spot for a refreshing swim and photos. We returned to the ship by 5:10 pm, ensuring we caught the last tender without any worries. I highly recommend this tour.
The guide was very personable, and both sites are stunningly beautiful. The trip out there is absolutely worth it.
While it isn't exactly a tour, more of a taxi service to various spots, both the Blue Lagoon and Eden Cascades are stunning. I suggest wearing water shoes at the cascades. Sliding down on an inner tube is enjoyable but needs some skill. The steps leading down are brief yet steep, and there is a handrail to assist when you reach the water at the bottom of the cascade.
The experience with Justin was fantastic. It was wonderful to learn about the local plants and customs. Although we couldn't swim at the first location due to heavy rain the previous night, my family appreciated the brief walk around. I recommend wearing old sneakers as it was quite muddy. We truly enjoyed our visit to the Blue Lagoon, where we all jumped from the ledges into the refreshing water on a warm day. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and missed the chance to grab ice cream from the cafe at the Blue Lagoon. Be cautious as the water is quite deep in many areas; if you're not comfortable treading water, don’t forget to bring floaties.
We traveled as a family of four, with two adults and two children. While waiting for late arrivals from the ship, we appreciated being able to relax in the bus away from the heat. The historical information shared during our ride to Blue Lagoon and Eden on the River was fascinating. Despite a tight schedule to return to the boat, our driver and guide worked hard to ensure we reached each destination and duty-free shop on time. We would definitely choose Atmosphere Tours again. The pick-up from the cruise ship terminal was seamless. The tour bus was well-maintained, and the guides were friendly and efficient, though a bit more interaction could have enhanced the experience. Both the Blue Lagoon and Eden were enjoyable stops, although an unattended dog at Eden created some issues that went unaddressed (not the tour operator's fault). The drop-off at the cruise port was timely. Overall, it was a good value tour.

The tour overall was fantastic, and we had a wonderful experience. Our group of eight adults really enjoyed the atmosphere, organization, and the chance to explore beautiful locations together. Nevertheless, we were quite disappointed with the delay at the beginning, as we waited over an hour and a half for the last two guests to arrive. This significantly cut down our time at each stop and affected the overall experience. What was particularly frustrating was that all other guests, including a large family group of over 20 people with children, managed to arrive on time, along with smaller groups. Therefore, the prolonged wait for just two individuals felt unreasonable. While we understand that delays can occur, it was disappointing to feel that the rest of us were penalized due to the lateness of a few guests. For future tours, we highly suggest setting a strict cut-off time for late arrivals to ensure the schedule remains intact and the experience of those who arrive on time isn't diminished. Thank you once again for an otherwise enjoyable tour, and we hope this input is helpful.
Communication before the cruise from Australia was effective. There was a slight delay for the tour due to some guests not arriving. The tour guide and driver were excellent, and the Blue Lagoon was vibrant and enjoyable for swimming. Although Eden River had a steep staircase, it was definitely worth the effort. I would recommend this tour, especially considering the competitive pricing.
