This tour offers great value and is packed with activities. We started at a cultural village, where we learned about their history and music. Next, we observed sea turtles, along with coconut crabs and iguanas. After that, we enjoyed swimming in the blue lagoon, where many had fun jumping into the water. We then had a barbecue lunch at Eden River, which was of excellent quality, featuring grilled steak and chicken. To top it off, our guide Sammy took us to Eden Beach, which was stunning. The tour is incredibly worthwhile, with delicious food and a friendly, patient guide who went above and beyond what was expected.
I can't recommend Sammy's and the team highly enough for their professionalism. Booking was straightforward, and Sammy was very quick to respond via WhatsApp. The team picked us up exactly where promised, and we were on our way immediately. The air-conditioned van provided welcome relief from the day's heat. Our itinerary included a fascinating cultural village, a turtle sanctuary, a natural pool perfect for swimming and jumping, and a delicious lunch by a hidden waterfall. The tour offered plenty of information without being too much to handle. It truly felt like the ideal way to spend our day in Port Vila, giving us a solid understanding of the area's life, history, and culture. This experience ended up being our favorite part of the entire cruise.
Seeing the turtles and iguanas was a great experience. We couldn't swim because of the tides and currents, but the blue lagoon was beautiful and not overly crowded. The rope swings were a lot of fun, and I particularly liked the lunch, especially the salads, although there were many flies. Swimming at Eden on the River was enjoyable. There were just two other people with us, and our guide was polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We visited several fascinating locations and enjoyed a lovely lunch during the tour. However, the downside was that the van felt cramped, offering minimal legroom.
Sammy communicated well, and the Cultural Village was wonderful. The waterfalls were lovely, but I was disappointed that swimming with turtles was not permitted due to sunscreen restrictions. Upon arrival, we learned that there was a metal fence allowing water to flow between the ocean and the turtle enclosure. The blue lagoon was stunning, and lunch featured a barbecue with fresh fruits and cookies. However, the vehicle used for the day was dirty, and there was minimal interaction with the guide.
Our experience in Vila/Efate was fantastic, largely due to Sammy's Tours. We enjoyed our time at the Blue Lagoon, and our guide Eddie was exceptional. He prepared a delightful pre-lunch spread of fresh tropical fruits, biscuits, nuts, soft drinks, and water. The lunch was simple yet adequate and included in the tour cost. We also visited a turtle sanctuary and took pictures with friendly little iguanas.
It was a fantastic experience; I enjoyed every moment and found it to be well worth the time. The locals manage this tour, but they don't receive all the profits if booked through the app. You can find cheaper rates when booking upon arrival.
