Day trip to Pyramids and Sakkara from Port Said

This full-day tour begins with pickup from your Port Said accommodation. The first destination is Sakkara, where you'll explore the 5000-year-old Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the earliest monumental stone structure globally. You'll have the chance to enter nearby Mastabas such as Ptah-Hoteb and Mereruca Idut, providing insight into Egyptian burial practices.

Next, head to the Giza Plateau to see the iconic Pyramids of Giza, including the Pyramid of Chephren, offering excellent photo opportunities from the Western Plateau. You'll also visit the Sphinx, guarding the ancient site. A brief stop at a Papyrus Institute showcases the history of papermaking from reeds.
