Reviews
My family and I participated in the Wild Yarnbala experience, and we enjoyed it immensely. The tour was engaging, educational, and enjoyable. Yarnbala offers a wonderfully tranquil environment that made us reluctant to depart. I plan to return with my husband, teenagers, and friends to either repeat this experience or try the Tasting Yarnbala option.
Yarnbala is truly a hidden gem. Kane and his son Arj were fantastic hosts. Even though it's still relatively new, having opened less than two years ago, Yarnbala has an enchanting atmosphere. The family's commitment to preserving the environment and keeping their land free from introduced species is admirable. Kane entertained us beautifully with his didgeridoo, while Arj showcased stunning photos of native birds and wildlife. We relaxed with drinks at the lovely bar and explored the unspoiled bush, learning about the flora and even trying our hand at traditional water divining. Although we’re from Queensland, we’re eager to return with friends to experience more of their offerings. I’m confident Yarnbala will become a cherished destination for both tourists and locals alike.
This is a must-do experience. I had an incredible time with my travel group, and Kane made the event captivating. He also entertained us by playing guitar and showcasing his talent, having built all the structures from recycled materials he collected.
Our group of three visited Yarnbala during Easter 2023, and it truly stands out as it isn't just about the sea and fishing, which make Coffin Bay famous as a tranquil holiday spot. We plan to return for the meal experience and highly recommend this adventure to anyone willing to step away from their usual comfort zones. The Gin, Didgeridoo, Divining, unique building structures, fire pit, and Egyptian door were exceptional. This is a valuable addition to the attractions on Eyre Peninsula. Thank you, Kane, for a memorable experience; we look forward to returning soon.
Visiting Yarnbala is essential for anyone passionate about nature conservation and the traditional uses of local plants for food and medicine by the First Nations people. The structures harmoniously blend with the surroundings, utilizing recycled materials in a way that fosters a tranquil atmosphere for enjoying a gin with friends while listening to Kane perform on the didgeridoo. Kudos to the owners for their work.
This is the most incredible place I have ever visited. The host, Dean, is exceptional; his understanding of the bush and indigenous cuisine is remarkable. He also plays the didgeridoo and lap guitar with great skill. You must visit this place; it will leave you feeling uplifted.
Our time at Yarnbala was absolutely incredible. Kane introduced us to amazing bush tucker and water divining while showcasing the beautiful area his family has developed for visitors. His music perfectly complemented the stunning surroundings. We highly recommend this tour.
Yarnbala offers a genuinely unique experience. Kane served as a fantastic host—knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly engaging. You can sense their profound respect and connection to the land in all that they do. The venue is thoughtfully designed, sustainable, and beautifully crafted to foster community. The didgeridoo performance was nothing short of perfect—calming, powerful, and uplifting for the spirit. Every small detail, from the cookie provided by Brook to the lovely photography cards created by their son, added a personal touch. I highly recommend visiting Yarnbala; it truly is a one-of-a-kind experience.
