I had an incredible day with David, who was an excellent host. His knowledge and driving skills were impressive, and he even cooked a healthy and delicious lunch that I couldn’t fault. The sand dune driving was a highlight, especially watching the kids enjoy boarding down the dunes. The scenery was stunning, and I prefer to keep it a secret. Overall, this experience provided me with wonderful memories, making it the perfect way to spend a day. I appreciate David and Renae for organizing everything. I would rate it 10 out of 10.
This tour perfectly combines incredible local food with breathtaking landscapes. We enjoyed seafood, stunning sights, wildlife, along with engaging stories and fascinating people. David was an outstanding host and guide—friendly, charismatic, and knowledgeable about the region. I felt genuinely cared for. It’s one of the best experiences I have had.
This trip was a refreshing change from our previous experiences. We gathered cockles at Coffin Bay, spent the day diving for abalone, and enjoyed a lovely beach where Dave prepared an exceptional lunch. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicate. Later, we had a fun fishing session before Dave returned us to our apartment. A big thank you to Renae for tailoring the outing to our interests and to Dave for his culinary skills and expertise.
The experience with Australian Coastal Safaris was outstanding. The team excelled in making our visit to Port Lincoln enjoyable and our journey truly memorable. David took us sand surfing while we admired the stunning ocean views, along with seeing koalas and kangaroos. I left with wonderful memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. Our day with Australian Coastal Safaris was fantastic. We explored Port Lincoln before heading to the National Park, where we spotted many emus on the sand dunes and enjoyed sand dune sliding. Lunch offered a stunning seafood meal with an ocean view, all to ourselves. We wrapped up the afternoon by observing koalas in the wild, coming face to face with them. It was truly a magical experience.
During our port stay in Port Lincoln while circumnavigating Australia, we booked a Wildlife Safari with Australian Coastal Safaris, and it was a great decision. Our knowledgeable driver-guides, David and Peter, picked us up from the port and took us on an incredible jeep tour over vast sand dunes to breathtaking cliffs and stunning viewpoints. We traveled in two vehicles, each with a group of six. Along the way, we enjoyed a delicious picnic featuring fresh prawns, chicken, salad, and fruit. Before heading back to the port, we made a final stop at Mikkira Station to see Koalas in their natural habitat, and we spotted many nestled in the trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Australian Coastal Safaris and highly recommend them. Thank you for a fantastic day!

We booked a private full-day tour with David in June, and despite the less-than-ideal weather, the rugged coastline provided a memorable experience. David was an exceptional guide, brimming with knowledge about the area and its communities, and by the end of the day, we felt like we had made a new friend. The highlights were numerous, particularly the dramatic Southern Ocean coastline, the Mikkira koala sanctuary, and the fantastic lunch featuring Coffin Bay oysters and Spencer Gulf prawns, in addition to sunset drinks and snacks by the fire. A special thank you to Renae for her help in making our day so enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience.
Doug provided an exceptional experience showcasing the wildlife in the bush. His enthusiasm for both animals and people, along with his sense of humor, truly stood out during our wonderful half day spent in nature and sand surfing.
