There really is little to beat the excitement and experience of being on foot in the African bush, walking along game paths in the footsteps of wildlife and getting up close to one most iconic of all African animals, the giraffe. It is undoubtedly an experience that will create an lasting memories as a highlight of your safari adventure. While game viewing from a vehicle is a standard activity on safari trips, being allowed and able to safely walk in big game country adds a different dimension to an African safari. It is a rare opportunity not widely available. Cruiseliner guests welcome, if the ship is running late we will wait for guests to dissembark.
2Explore Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest in South Africa and home to nearly 700 free-roaming African Elephants, herds of Buffalo, Lions, Black Rhino, and the shy Leopard (the Big 5), plus diverse antelope, Zebra, Warthog, birds, and reptiles. Enjoy a half-day game drive with expert local guides, viewing wildlife in their natural habitat. After your Addo Park game drive, stop for lunch at Taste of Africa, a beautiful restaurant on the banks of the Sundays River, before returning to Port Elizabeth. A short 35-minute drive gets you to the park. We cater to Cruise Liners at the port in Port Elizabeth.
3Enjoy a Game Drive (Safari) in Addo Elephant National Park in a comfortable closed vehicle. Home to the Big 5 - Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Addo Elephant Park(Malaria-free) is the third largest National Park in South Africa 176 000 hectares. Home to plus minus 700 Elephants, which is one of the most densest Elephant populations in the world. We will enter the park via the South Gate Mathyolweni entrance which is only 30 minutes from Port Elizabeth. We will explore the South Section before heading North to the Main Camp where we will have lunch, visit the visitor centre and curio shop and unwind. After lunch we will head back in to the park via the main camp and explore the North section stopping at scenic look out points. Cruiseliner guests welcome with direct harbour pick up and drop off tailored to the cruiseliner schedule,if the ship is running late we will wait for guests to disembark.
