Pickup is available from hotels in the city center or designated locations within city limits. If pickup is requested from areas outside of these central points, an additional fee based on distance will apply.

• In the morning, you will be collected from your hotel by your guide for a city tour. As you drive, you will see the French influence visible in the Mediterranean-style homes, local bakeries, and streets. While French is still commonly spoken, English is also largely understood. Pondicherry is often called the 'French Riviera of the East.' Visit the historical French Quarter and observe the differences compared to the newly developed areas of the city. Enjoy views of the extended, rugged coastline from the beach promenade. Explore Bharati Park, the lush central park of the city. Additional key sites include Government Park, the Botanical Gardens, and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Also, visit Gandhi Mandappam, which features the tallest statue of Mahatma Gandhi in India. • Following this, travel to Auroville, meaning 'City of Dawn.' This township is home to individuals from over 50 countries, with architecture embodying its global essence. Tour the Matrimandir, a meditation center shaped like a golden flower, and take time there for quiet reflection. Auroville represents more than a destination; it reflects a lifestyle. Gain an understanding of this community's way of life at the Sri Aurobindo ashram. After the tour, you will have lunch at a local restaurant (cost not included). Once lunch is finished, you will be taken back to your hotel.
