• In the morning, you will be collected from your hotel by your guide for a city tour. Pondicherry is often called the 'French Riviera of the East.' Visit the historical French Quarter and observe the differences compared to the newly developed areas of the city. Enjoy views of the extended, rugged coastline from the beach promenade. Explore Bharati Park, the lush central park of the city. Additional key sites include Government Park, the Botanical Gardens, and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Also, visit Gandhi Mandappam, which features the tallest statue of Mahatma Gandhi in India. • Following this, travel to Auroville, meaning 'City of Dawn.' This township is home to individuals from over 50 countries, with architecture embodying its global essence.
