This was an excellent tour. I had the chance to taste some fantastic spirits, and I found the history to be quite engaging. The guide did a great job!
A wealth of historical information and plenty of whiskey to sample. The guide was outstanding, providing answers to questions all along the way.
Gail provided an informative and enjoyable experience. The selection of samples was diverse and tasty. We appreciated the 25% discount on gift shop items, which allowed us to purchase some wonderful souvenirs. Jenna, the bartender, was instrumental in helping us choose and mix our complimentary drinks.
This tour is a must-see during your visit. It was both fascinating and enlightening. Our guide was excellent—she was friendly and kept everyone involved. Additionally, the whiskey they offer is fantastic.
I have participated in numerous tours, but this one fell short of my expectations. The introductory drink was only a few teaspoons, and each sample was similarly small. Our guide seemed rushed, spoke too quickly to be easily understood, especially for some international guests. The constant jumping around made it challenging to follow along. Personal anecdotes about your family didn't add value, and the feeling of being hurried because of the upcoming 3:00 tour was frustrating. Overall, we felt unsatisfied and rushed. I found the Liberty Pole tour to be far superior and would recommend that instead of this one, which I wouldn't suggest to friends or family.
Braxton brought a lively and engaging energy to the tour. His entertaining style made the experience enjoyable, and he offered valuable insights into the history of whiskey.
Our visit to Wigle was truly outstanding. Leslie and Braxton were our guides; Leslie offered us a drink before the tour and assisted with the tastings later on. Braxton provided a fantastic tour featuring the history of whiskey-making and its ties to Pittsburgh, making everyone feel welcome. The tour was both educational and enjoyable, and the added samples enhanced the experience. He thoroughly explained each product we tasted and addressed all inquiries. After the sampling, we had the chance to taste other offerings. Leslie and Braxton were extremely knowledgeable about Wigle's products, and their friendly demeanor contributed to a wonderful day. We chose to stay for lunch afterward and had a lovely meal.
It was an incredible experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided great historical insights, and the drinks were delightful. The distillery also offers tasty food if you wish to dine before or after the tour.
Braxton was an excellent guide—both professional and engaging, which enhanced the overall experience. The distillery tour was enjoyable and included some interesting historical insights. The pours and samples were generous. I would definitely recommend this tour.
For anyone who enjoys whiskey and spirits, this tour and tasting is a must. The guide was excellent, making the experience both engaging and interactive.
