The neighborhood we explored was really interesting, though we did notice a few rough individuals as the day progressed. The game was fun, and we only required a handful of extra clues. There were five participants, but one clue was unyielding due to a business name change that needs updating. Overall, we had a wonderful time taking in the area. Later, we relaxed at Allegheny City Brewing and grabbed sandwich wraps from the Smash Shack. We would absolutely enjoy playing a game like this again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Some of the clues were challenging, and we required hints for a few, but we solved most on our own. The entire adventure was delightful, especially with the enjoyable twist at the end. We highly recommend it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with the escape room game in Deutschtown, Pittsburgh. Having tried various escape rooms and games before, we found the level of challenge perfect for a relaxing outing with friends and their six-year-old, who was able to keep up without feeling overwhelmed. The highlight for us was using the game as a chance to reconnect with friends we hadn't seen in a while, explore an area of Pittsburgh we rarely visit, and enjoy some food and drinks at local spots like Prantl's and Allegheny City Brewing. It was an excellent social experience, and we plan to recommend it to fellow game enthusiasts. We even discussed getting a copy for other nearby towns as an excuse for a road trip.
Our teenage sons enjoyed solving the clues as they explored the area around Allegheny Brewery. We relaxed at the brewery while they engaged in the adventure and tackled the puzzles.
The experience was enjoyable, with challenging yet fair clues. However, I found it uncomfortable to engage in a family activity in a struggling area, which seemed disrespectful to the local residents.
We had a great time. Everything was conveniently located near our Airbnb. I highly recommend it for couples, although it was a bit more challenging than expected; we only needed to use three hints.
Four friends participated in the Escapely Who Dunnit adventure in Deutschtown, located on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The game starts on an enjoyable street and guides you to various clues in a nearby park, including wall paintings and signatures. The directions provided were excellent, even for those unfamiliar with the area. The challenge level was just right, and hints were readily available when needed. The game is cleverly designed and truly engages your thinking. Our group had a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter. We highly recommend it.
A group of six of us visited Pittsburgh for a girls' trip and participated in the Outdoor Escape Room. It was an enjoyable experience! Using real-world clues allowed us to explore the area effectively. Since we had an AirBnB in Deutschtown, it fit perfectly with our plans. We even encountered another group starting their escape as we completed ours, which was a nice surprise. We're already making plans for our next trip that will involve another Outdoor Escape Room. Thank you for organizing this activity.
The game was incredible. I've been sharing my excitement about it with everyone. My husband, parents, and my brother along with his girlfriend, all from Pittsburgh, enjoyed exploring the city in a fresh way. Our highlight was discovering the unique bricks and facades of the buildings. We're considering getting another city to explore on a day trip.
Our family of five had an excellent time! With ages ranging from 10 to 45, everyone enjoyed participating and solving the clues. We are fans of escape rooms, and this outdoor version was fantastic. We all highly recommend it.
