I cannot recommend booking through this service. We arrived a bit before our scheduled time at 4:30 PM, only to find the Pittsburgh Tour Company closed. An employee informed us that their last tour departs at 3:15 PM, and no 4:30 PM tour exists in October. If acting as a third-party vendor, it’s crucial to be informed about tour schedules. The employee's attitude was rude, repeatedly insisting we should have checked their website instead of booking through a vendor. As visitors unfamiliar with the area, we had no way of knowing this. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
The guide was informative and enthusiastic, clearly taking pride in his city of Pittsburgh. I wish I had opted for a longer tour.
This tour provided an excellent opportunity to explore various sites while learning about the history of Pittsburgh. The guide was fantastic and had a wonderful sense of humor. We highly recommend it.
The narrator was excellent, the bus was clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would certainly suggest this to anyone traveling to Pittsburgh.
This was an incredible tour that I would strongly recommend. I enjoyed the stunning architectural landmarks, and our guide had an extensive knowledge of Pittsburgh's history.
Sit on the upper level and make sure to bring a warm, hooded jacket; it can get quite windy on the bridges. The guide was fantastic.
The tour guide had excellent knowledge of the city’s history, making it a fantastic experience. I highly recommend taking this tour before exploring the rest of the city; it helped us understand how to navigate and find areas aligned with our interests.
The tour was fantastic. John, our guide, was both knowledgeable and entertaining, while Bill, our driver, expertly handled the route. The customer service provided was outstanding.
This was an enjoyable tour with plenty of engaging stops and moments of laughter. The organizer, guide, and bus driver were all incredibly friendly and supportive. I gained a lot of knowledge about the city. Although we didn't get off at any stops, I would love to explore places like the aviary and the strip shops and market on our next visit since there’s so much to experience!
Carol skillfully drove the bus, and John, our guide, was outstanding. His light-hearted jokes sprinkled throughout the historical storytelling made the experience enjoyable and engaging.
