Chuck, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about the city, along with great insights into the local brewery scene.
The combination of biking and brewery tours was fantastic. Chuck was outstanding as a guide. I intend to do it again in the fall. We were lucky to be in a small group, receiving a lot of personalized attention. Consider doing it on a Sunday like we did, as the Strip District, traffic, and breweries were less crowded. If you have bikes, you can park near the History Center and use Pittsburgh's bike lanes to reach the meeting point.
This experience was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Chuck, was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and confident, even as someone who isn’t used to biking in a city. Every brewery we visited was unique, spacious, energetic, and delicious. We’re planning to take the tour again with friends and are recommending it to everyone we know.
The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Chuck, was outstanding and shared a wealth of knowledge about the breweries and Pittsburgh itself. Riding through the city streets and paths felt very safe. We had the advantage of being the only participants, which made for a personalized experience. I highly suggest this tour.
The bike paths and breweries were excellent! We felt secure throughout the ride. There are a few hills, but they were manageable at a leisurely pace. Our guides, Diane and Dan, were wonderful, bringing homemade pickles for a snack along the way. Their knowledge of Pittsburgh's history impressed even us, locals. I strongly recommend this tour.
A fantastic experience that allowed me to explore a different side of Pittsburgh away from downtown. I was surprised by the abundance of breweries and the quality of the beer available.
I had an excellent experience with Dan and Diane. They shared a wealth of fascinating history, and the selection of breweries we visited made for a really enjoyable outing.
Booking the Bike & Brews Tour, you're likely to have Dan ("The Man") Berg as your guide, whose fun and entertaining approach made the experience truly enjoyable. His extensive knowledge of Pittsburgh included trivia that even surprised me, a local. The option of ebikes was a blessing for someone like me who doesn't exercise much. We intended to visit more breweries, but Easter Sunday closures limited us to two: Allegheny City Brewing on the North Side and Aslin Beer Co. in the Strip, both offering fantastic beers and snacks. Don't miss asking Dan about his delicious homemade pickles. I'll definitely choose this tour again on my next trip to Pittsburgh.
Fantastic tour of Pittsburgh! It offered an excellent blend of history and beer. I gained plenty of insights about the city, while the enjoyable journey from one brewery to another kept the experience lively. Our guide was very entertaining!
