Having experienced several mountain coasters during our vacations over the years, I can confidently say this one was the best. The admission cost was reasonable for our family of five. Although we waited around an hour to ride, the lively atmosphere, with music playing and fans cooling us off, made it enjoyable. The 10-minute ride definitely justified the wait.
This is our second visit to the coaster; we first came over the summer when we moved my son into UT. We enjoyed it! Although there is a line, it moves quickly and isn't bothersome. Purchasing tickets online was simple, and we would definitely do this again.
I bought the double coaster combo at Skyland Ranch, which included two rides on the Wild Stallion and two on the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster. The Wild Stallion was great; we had minimal wait times for our rides there. However, when we went to Rocky Top after dark, the wait time was around two hours, prompting us to leave. The next day, shortly after opening, we found a 90-minute wait, which we reluctantly endured since I had already paid. The ride was enjoyable, but not worth such a long wait. Redeeming the second ride would have meant another long wait in line, so we opted out. Had I known about the wait times, I would have chosen to ride more at Skyland instead and skipped Rocky Top. Perhaps the experience is better during the off-season.
This place is fantastic for families. We all had a great time and are eager to return. It’s for sure that we will come back again.
It was a really enjoyable experience. The duration was great, and it looked wonderful at night with all the lights.
It was an incredible experience, but keep in mind that hats are not allowed and women should wear their hair in a bun instead of ponytails. I had my hair under a hat while on our honeymoon.
There is a special offer that allows you to enjoy the coaster and the wild stallion twice! It’s an excellent value for a family of four. Experiencing it at night adds even more excitement.
I had a fantastic experience; it was a blast to do this at night and enjoy the thrill of the dark. It was also my first time trying it.
The staff were fantastic and the track was enjoyable. I had a wonderful time and will certainly return.
This was a lot of fun for everyone in our group. It's something you should experience at least once. The access is easy, and if you have the time or interest, it's definitely worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
