The route encompasses all the key attractions, including Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, City Hall, the Rocky Steps, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Reading Terminal Market, and the Betsy Ross House, among many other historic sites. It's the most efficient and stress-free way to familiarize yourself with the city's major landmarks. I frequently hopped on and off at various stops, and despite my tight schedule, the convenience this mode of transport provided reinforced why it’s my favorite way to explore new places. There’s no need to navigate unfamiliar streets or deal with parking; just effortless sightseeing, informative commentary, and the iconic open-top deck I always prefer. For a quick one-day visit, Big Bus made everything achievable. I highly recommend it. We left our bags at the train station and enjoyed our day in Philadelphia.

I typically ride the entire route first and then explore independently. It's also a convenient way to navigate the city. I highly recommend it.
Having taken around 5-6 Hop On Hop Off buses in different cities, I was very satisfied with the 2-day pass we purchased. The route included roughly 25 stops, spanning a large area with many attractions, including museums, parks, statues, and shopping areas. The map provided was excellent, serving as a useful guide for both the bus route and navigating the city. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes and a hat, as the top deck offers great views but is exposed to all weather conditions. We favored the Big Brown Bus, but tickets were valid on the smaller red and yellow bus as well. The guides were knowledgeable, but we found out the hard way that if you want to stop at a specific location while seated inside, you must inform the driver, or else they may not stop.
