The visit was highly engaging and thorough. The audio guide made the travel convenient, and I appreciated seeing authentic items from that era.
We really enjoyed our visit, especially the George Washington tent exhibit. We would have appreciated more interactive displays, but overall it was a positive experience that we would recommend.
We arrived in the afternoon, thinking there wouldn't be much to do, but we were happily surprised. Even though we got there near closing time, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning.
The experience is highly informative, with engaging storyboards and videos. Make sure to take your time to fully appreciate everything, including the video presentations and the actual command post tent of General Washington.
I strongly suggest visiting the Museum of the American Revolution. We spent Saturday morning exploring the museum using the self-guided audio tour, which I highly recommend. Our visit lasted about 90 minutes and it was a delightful experience.
Visiting this museum was an unexpectedly wonderful experience. We spent around three hours exploring various exhibits, including Washington's actual tent and details about the battles and Native American involvement in the Revolutionary War. The only downside was the noise from school groups, which made it hard to hear the audio guides. Given that we are celebrating the 250th anniversary of the USA, I suspect this will be frequent. Additionally, there's another historic house nearby that served as the first Congress meeting location, and the entire area is rich in history, with the convention hall just a few blocks away.
Fantastic experience! Make sure to allocate ample time as it takes a while to explore thoroughly. We unfortunately couldn’t see everything due to time constraints.
This museum is beautifully designed and offers a great historical experience. The audio guide was informative and allowed for individual exploration. I valued the objective presentation of the facts. The $27 fee is well justified. Make sure to allocate at least 2 additional hours if possible.
Allocate a minimum of two hours for your visit, or you can return the following day at no cost. The presentations are exceptionally well done and there's ample information to absorb.
This location is fantastic, featuring numerous impressive displays. The presentation effectively covers the war from various viewpoints, including those of the British, Americans, Native Americans, slaves, and women. It boasts many artifacts, including George Washington’s actual tent. The guides are very knowledgeable, and all videos are accompanied by text. Plan to spend several hours here, as there are benches and elevators available due to the multiple floors.
