I had planned a surprise for a friend during our first trip to the city, hoping to experience what felt like a magic carpet ride. Unfortunately, the activity was canceled, likely due to weather conditions, but the lack of notification was incredibly frustrating. I found out there was no staff present only after arriving at the airport. I had already spent over an hour and nearly $100 on transportation for nothing. It turned out they had the wrong phone number on file, which is why I received no cancellation notice. Although the weather was not great, it was only lightly raining, leading me to believe the flight might still happen. I thought there would be better communication from the company, especially considering they could have used my email or other messaging options. While it's unfair to blame the company for the weather, the miscommunication was disappointing. A representative did eventually reach out and issue a full refund after I contacted them from another number, which is why I'm not giving a lower rating. However, due to these frustrations, I can't give a higher score. I might consider trying this activity again if circumstances align and I'm assured of better communication.
I arranged a helicopter ride for my wife and our 2.5-year-old son for Mother’s Day, hoping it would be a memorable first experience for them. Our son was thrilled, and we received email confirmation. However, the experience turned into disappointment as the flight was canceled without any notification. We found ourselves at the airport an hour and a half from home, while our son cried for the helicopter. When I contacted Cal, he claimed they informed everyone but admitted they hadn't reached me. His response was dismissive, suggesting it was just a human error. I believe other companies would uphold their commitments. I would recommend staying away from this one.
This experience was incredible for my fiancé and me. Our pilot, Phillip, was fantastic. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The views were stunning, particularly flying close to the skyscrapers, which was unforgettable. We truly appreciate your help in making this a magical experience.
