As you travel westward, you'll pass through Chinatown and see the impressive architecture of City Hall, with optional disembarkation at museums along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, including the renowned Barnes Foundation. The route concludes with a scenic drive through Society Hill and along the Delaware River, giving a complete view of Philadelphia’s heritage and vibrant city life.
Reviews
The tour did not meet my expectations, as we weren't placed on a double-decker bus. The live commentary lacked information about the cultural importance and background of the various sites on the tour map, making the experience less satisfying.
The wait for the bus was quite prolonged, lasting more than 25 minutes. There was no seating or shade available during the wait. However, the staff were excellent and provided insightful commentary on the sites.
The tour guide was very easy to understand, and the driver performed admirably. They maintained a comfortable pace, allowing us to fully appreciate the sights and the guide's commentary.
The tour guides on every bus were exceptional as we got on and off several times. I genuinely appreciated exploring Philadelphia and its historical landmarks.
A fantastic way to explore the city with numerous sights to see. The staff was excellent and the buses operated regularly. However, my only issue was that the ticket indicated you could board at any advertised location, which was not accurate. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to call and were informed that we could only get on at stops 1 and 5.
The complimentary shuttle from my hotel was quick and convenient. The tour commenced with various stops, complemented by engaging commentary from Nick, who was both knowledgeable and amusing. He truly enhanced the experience. Each stop was fascinating, and the bus came at a reasonable frequency. As a local from Philadelphia, I enjoyed a day of tourist activities for fun. I highly recommend this tour, and wish for others to have Nick as their guide—he even highlighted every fluffy puppy!
The tour offered an excellent opportunity to experience the city's remarkable attractions in a brief period. Nonetheless, I found it disappointing that the guide spoke negatively about one of the landmarks.
This is something we enjoy doing on all our trips. Gaining a broad understanding of the key attractions not only enriches our experience but also highlights areas we'd like to delve into further.
A fantastic 90-minute tour led by a wonderful guide named Henry. It showcased the city's highlights at a perfect pace—neither too slow nor too fast.
They don't make stops at every location consistently; you need to request them. However, the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
