Reviews
The walk through historic Philadelphia was fascinating, featuring engaging insights into the American Revolutionary period and its key figures, presented by Nina. The tour also emphasized contemporary relevance.
The guide was knowledgeable, humorous, and truly engaging.
The tour was incredibly detailed and informative. We visited all of the key locations, accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, Caroline, who provided in-depth insights.
We enjoy taking walking tours during our travels, and this experience led by Carla was exceptional. She has extensive knowledge of both US and Philadelphia history. The 2.5 hours spent exploring historical sites flew by. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Carla as your guide.
Our guide, Tom, was friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about teaching history. He skillfully adjusted the itinerary to include a demonstration of a printing press at the Franklin Court Printing Office and the Liberty Bell exhibit. However, our time at the Museum of the American Revolution felt inadequate, as it focused largely on a film and the reveal of one of Washington's tents, which we found unnecessary; we would have preferred more time exploring the museum's exhibits. The 2.5-hour tour felt a bit lengthy, both physically and mentally, given the amount of information presented. Overall, it was a very good experience and definitely worth it.
Caroline was an enthusiastic and well-informed guide. The small group setting made the tour enjoyable and fun.
Excellent tour led by Rick H. The walking pace was comfortable, allowing us ample time to appreciate the sights and the information provided.
The tour was very informative and included many key stops. Brittany, our guide, spoke clearly so that everyone was able to hear her.
I had a fantastic tour with PJ. I gained a lot of knowledge about Philadelphia and truly felt immersed in its rich history. Experiencing Washington's actual tent was particularly memorable.
This provides an excellent summary of the Old City. Our guide, John, was fantastic, offering plenty of information and being approachable for questions and suggestions for activities beyond the 2.5-hour tour.
