What's the itinerary?+
• The tour will commence with a meeting at your hotel lobby or an alternative meeting spot if your hotel is outside the designated area. The 6km walk will initiate from the Petra Visitor Center, traversing through the Siq to reach the Treasury. Following that, there will be a hike up a mountain for a panoramic perspective of the theater, as well as visits to the Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bint. This segment of the itinerary generally lasts about 3 hours, varying with your walking speed, with a minimum duration of 2.5 hours. • Please be advised that the ascent to the Monastery is not a part of this itinerary. However, a discussion about visiting it can be held toward the tour's conclusion. Should you choose to visit the Monastery, it will involve climbing 850 steps. Alternatively, there is an option to return to the Visitor Center along the main trail, which typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. • For those preferring not to walk back to the Visitor Center, optional golf carts are accessible from the tour's endpoint to the Visitor Center for a fee of 25 JOD per person.
