What's the itinerary?+
• The meeting point will be at your hotel, followed by a drive to the back entrance of Petra for a Private Tour lasting between 4 to 6 hours. From the drop-off location, you will walk for 1km to reach the entrance of the site, where you will ascend the back route to the Monastery, enjoying scenic views of the mountains. After descending 900 steps from the Monastery to the basin, you will walk through the Street of Facades, pass the Royal Tombs, and reach the Roman Theatre. The tour continues to the Treasury, and then you'll proceed through the Siq (1.2kms) to the regular entrance of the city, marking the conclusion of your tour. (At the Treasury, if you wish to continue exploring independently, you are welcome to do so.) This tour can start any time before 10:30 AM, and the entrance fee for Petra is not included. The transport from your hotel to the back entrance is also not included. • The Petra Theatre, a Nabatean structure from the 1st century AD, is located 600m from the center of Petra and is carved from solid rock.
