Gustavo was our guide for the day and he was excellent. We began at a family coffee farm with Anderson, who made the experience engaging and informative, even allowing us to pick coffee beans. Afterwards, we went to Salento where Gustavo assisted us in finding souvenirs; it’s a great place to shop for the entire day. Our lunch after Salento was fantastic, accommodating my mother's vegetarian needs with a special meal. Finally, we visited Cocora Valley, which was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed hiking, and Gustavo shared its history while taking wonderful photos for us. This tour is highly recommended; everything from resort pick-up to drop-off was very well organized.

The wax palms, condors, parrots, and flowers were truly beautiful. Gustavo's friendly demeanor and expertise, along with his keen eye for photography, made the experience even better.

We even had the opportunity to plant a tree, leaving our mark. The views in Cocora Valley are stunning, along with the vibrant streets and architecture of Salento. My trip to Cocora Valley and Salento was truly memorable. The scenery in Cocora Valley, with its majestic wax palms and lush hills, left me in awe. The vibrant birds and wildlife added to the experience. Our guide Jhon was exceptional, bursting with knowledge not just about Cocora, but also the coffee region, providing insights that even the coffee guide missed. As a biologist, he could identify bird species by their calls and mimic them, drawing a crowd in amazement. He also assisted us in finding rain ponchos and tasty pastries in town. The time spent at Finca Entrebusques was fascinating; we picked and roasted coffee seeds while learning about the entire process. This tour was undoubtedly a highlight of my visit to Colombia, and I highly recommend it.
