I joined a couple on the Manteo ghost tour led by the amazing Rita. She shared captivating stories about the area. I monitored the "activity meter," and it was intriguing to see higher readings at certain spots. We even encountered some local cats, which added to the experience. The tour had a good pace with appropriate stops to discuss each site's haunting history and check the readings. It was definitely worthwhile.
There was plenty of walking, engaging local stories, and if you're fortunate, you might capture some fantastic photos. Ann was both informative and entertaining.
