We had a fantastic time on our girls' getaway. Wendy was an incredible guide, especially since it was my friends' first visit to Ottawa. The staff, from the ticket booth to the bus, were also great. I’d definitely do this again. A tip: spending an extra $10 for premium seating is worth it.
Dress warmly as the boat lacks heating and the seats are quite uncomfortable. Also, expect to spend almost an hour finding parking near the departure point, as the area is very flat and parking is scarce.
This was an enjoyable way to explore parts of Ottawa from both the land and the center of the river. The commentary managed to be both engaging and humorous. It's a great value for what you get.
