I have visited this museum on two occasions and took a friend from abroad along to experience it. The extensive collection offers plenty to explore, and some tank components are made of plastic. One can easily spend around three hours examining the exhibits, which are well organized and found in a quiet setting. I highly recommend the Canadian War Museum for anyone interested in military history and artifacts.
The museum is large and thoughtfully organized, with distinct areas for each of Canada's major conflicts. We spent several hours there and still didn’t manage to see everything. The exhibits were excellent, providing plenty of context. However, the café is quite basic.
The Canadian War Museum provides a profound and engaging experience that takes visitors through history. Its well-curated exhibits feature impactful artifacts, tanks, and personal stories from various periods. The interactive displays and reflective memorial areas create an educational yet emotional experience—a must-see that vividly brings history to life.
An excellent experience at a captivating museum suitable for the entire family. The staff provided a friendly and warm atmosphere. I strongly recommend this visit.
Having visited the War Museum 15 years ago, I was just as impressed on this recent trip. It's a striking building filled with excellent exhibits and incredible artifacts. One could easily spend an entire day exploring everything. There's also a nice cafe on-site for those looking to take a break during their visit. This is highly recommended and a must-see for every Canadian visiting Ottawa.
I attended the War Museum for the first time and was truly impressed by both the material presented and how the information was conveyed.
The museum is expansive, offering a wealth of exhibits and informative signage. To truly see everything, you should plan to spend a significant portion of the day here. I highly recommend this visit. It's conveniently located, with paid underground parking available.
The museum is stunning, featuring a vast collection of military vehicles. The chronological display of exhibits is both interesting and attractive. However, it would benefit from more directional arrows to guide visitors, as it's easy to get lost in such a spacious and airy environment.
Everything is fantastic and pleasant. The history of Canada is presented in a well-detailed and educational manner. I highly recommend it.
I had a great experience and I strongly recommend it.
