Reviews
I had a great time, although it felt a bit lengthy. By the end, our phone batteries were drained, and there was a moment when the audio recordings stopped, forcing us to read the scenarios, which was less enjoyable. Overall, it was a fun experience.
We started with the car tour since one person in our group had moderate mobility challenges. The tour was well executed, requiring us to find clues through the dialogue, which was nicely summarized at the end. However, we were let down that there were no actual locations to visit for clues; everything was found within the dialogue. This venue is great for tourists wanting to explore and learn about the area. Our first attempt at the mystery tour was unsuccessful because we couldn't download the experience. It's important to note that the initial offer should specify downloading the experience where reliable internet is available, rather than at the location itself. I rated the experience as "very good." The duration was as promised, though we found some questions difficult to edit, and the level of profanity felt excessive.
The game itself was enjoyable, but the use of profanity was quite disappointing. During the walking tour, it felt inappropriate for families with young children to hear such language. The experience could have been more entertaining if the actors chose to use different words. I cannot recommend this to my friends and family.
I had a good time, but when we reached the counting section, I didn't count the provided options and ended up recounted them four times.
We had an excellent time with friends on our weekend getaway. The experience was enjoyable, and we also got to explore downtown as part of the tour.
The driving murder mystery was a fantastic experience. It allowed us to explore Orillia while having fun. The game was excellently structured, and we identified the suspect on our second attempt.
The experience felt pointless as there were no clues at any of the stops. While walking around Orillia was pleasant, much of it involved just listening to the app.
The experience was fun, but there was an excessive amount of information to process. It was challenging to locate the correct places for the initial clues. Additionally, there was too much dialogue and adult themes, which felt inappropriate in a family-oriented area, so we opted to skip the audio and just find the next clue and complete the questions.
We thoroughly enjoyed solving this local murder mystery. It was an excellent value for the experience. The instructions were straightforward, and the app functioned smoothly. Exploring the town and uncovering clues made for a fun Friday night. Highly recommend!
The experience was quite disappointing; it lacked excitement, and there appeared to be no connection between the walking route and the audio narrative.
