Rafting on the River Betwa from Orchha

• Travelers with spinal injuries are advised against participation. • Not suitable for expectant mothers. • Not recommended for individuals with poor cardiovascular health. • A moderate level of physical fitness is required. • Pricing for adults applies to all participants. • The minimum age for participation is 14 years. • Children under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult. • Expectant women and those with back issues should refrain from booking. • It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. • The river's difficulty level ranges from 1 to 2, with no dangerous areas. • Each rafting boat accommodates 6 passengers: 3 guests and 3 English-speaking guides. • The tour does not take place during the monsoon season from April to September.

Pickup may be arranged from hotels located in the city center or from designated points within city limits. If the pickup location is outside of these central areas, an additional fee will apply based on the distance.

• You will be collected from your hotel in Orchha and transported to the meeting location for the rafting activity, where you will meet your instructor. From that point, you will take a brief ride in a tuk-tuk to the riverbank where the rafting begins. Once you arrive, you will don your life jacket and familiarize yourself with the raft as your instructor provides essential information about the river's currents and safety protocols. Then, you will board the raft and allow the river's current to guide your journey. Throughout the trip, you will notice the stunning cenotaphs of the Bundela Kings in the distance and the scenic Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary along the riverbanks. You will make several stops to explore the flora along the riverside. At the conclusion of the adventure, you will enjoy a meal (beverage not included) at a local dining establishment. Following the meal, you will be returned to your vehicle and taken back to your hotel.
