This one-and-a-half-hour cruise takes you out on a 40-foot pontoon-style vessel to spot the resident dolphin pod of Orange Beach. With between 50 and 70 dolphins calling the bay home, you are sure to have plenty of encounters. We've participated in this activity several times, and we’ve always heard that dolphins enjoy surfing as it feels like a playground for them. So, I'm puzzled as to why there would be a halt in the captains surfing with dolphins. Our captain, Smitty, was fantastic—very friendly and knowledgeable about dolphins. Thank you, Captain!
